Senior IT Project Manager Data Transformation

This is what you can expect in your new job

• You are responsible for the coordination of IT projects, primarily in the area of data transformation.
• Ensuring effective and efficient project implementation and cooperation of all parties involved (internal and external partners)
• Responsible for the definition and further development of a standardized data migration approach
• Collaborate with legacy and target system analysts to define extraction, transformation, and loading mechanisms, as well as validation of data in the target system.
• Control of all project activities in cleansing, enrichment, testing and quality analysis
• Monitoring and reporting on work progress to the respective project steering committees
• Identification of risks, derivation of countermeasures and, if necessary, escalation to appropriate stakeholders
• Overseeing our quality management scheme for data transformation projects including reporting and communication with client stakeholders.
• Ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy of data transfer when implementing new solutions
• Independent handling of correspondence with customers, subsidiaries, project members, stakeholders and partner companies

What you bring with you

• Completed (technical) university studies (e.g.: business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering) or a BWL / WVL course with additional qualification in IT or comparable
• Practical work experience in the field of data migration, ideally in the financial industry
• In-depth expertise in ETL, data modeling, and analytics techniques.
• High customer and team orientation as well as strong communication skills
• You are proactive, result- and solution-oriented as well as entrepreneurially thinking
• You have a keen interest in topics related to the financial industry
• Fluent language skills in German and English (spoken & written)
• Willingness to travel to our customers within Germany and, if necessary, in other European countries.
